Mahogany, unidentified secondary wood (possibly mahogany)
On four Marlborough legs with outside beads and inside chamfers, joined by H-stretchers, the medial of which is tenoned into the side stretchers. Double chip mark on inside of one long rail suggests that this stool was number “2”; slip seat now upholstered in floral needlework by Bertha Mather.
