Chest of Four Drawers

Second Floor - SW Bedroom

Furniture and Hard Furnishings

New England, 1725-1750
Cherry, maple, oak, white pine, poplar top; 38" h. x 38 ½" w. x 20 ⅛" d.

Chest of Four Drawers

Drawers nailed with rosehead nails to undersides of linings, now with
running strips; second brasses. Both drawers had cotter pins; a patch to
bottom drawer front; case rests on bracket feet. Some interior rebuilding, refinished, but a good example (and survivor)
of an early 18th century case piece of furniture.
