Harold Holzer is a scholar of Abraham Lincoln and the political culture of the American Civil Ware Era. He won the Gilder Lehrman Lincoln Prize and four other awards in 2015 for his book, Lincoln and the Power of the Press.


Join us on Thursday, April 19 at 7 pm for wine & cheese at The Mather Homestead, 19 Brookside Road, Darien.  Lecture and discussion begins at 8 pm at the red barn at Joseph Mather Jr's homestead, 378 Brookside Road (caddy corner from the Mather Homestead next to the land trust field).

Tickets are $75 per person ($50 for students and seniors 65 and over).


Proceeds benefit The Mather Homestead Foundation, dedicated to the preservation of the Mather House as a treasured historical place for education and enjoyment.
