About our beautification project:

The overdue removal of several mature trees has provided an opportunity to reimagine the plantings and landscaping for the next generation — and we would love your help!   Our current beautification project includes replanting the North side of the main house following the removal of the large (1 1/2 times height of the house!) Holly trees, planting the East side of the house following the removal of "Big Ben," a dangerously big evergreen which threatened the house, planting the back of the barn to obscure the electric box, propane tank and AC units, and MORE!  We are choosing non-invasive plants, many of which are already represented in the Mather Homestead gardens as planted by Bertha Mather.
