Mather Kids: Writers Workshop
Writing workshop inspired by 18th & 19th century poets, storytellers, letter writers, journalists, nature writers, and travel writers. Samantha will lead kids through the process of writing -- selecting topics, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing their original work! Reco ages 8 to 13.

About the event
We will be armed with notebooks and clipboards as we roam the woods, sit in the garden, sprawl out in the barn. Please be prepared to be outside with sun screen!! We will break up the time with fun games.
Samantha, our resident "literary guru," is a seasoned educator. She currently teaches 9th grade English at New Canaan Country School. Previously, she taught at the Dalton School in New York and Greenwich Academy. She has a BA in English and French from Dartmouth College and a MA from Middlebury College in English.
