About the event

We start with iced tea, wine or pellegrino in the garden and on the patio of the main house.  Then we'll move to the lawn for delicious "tea boxes" from Palmer's.  Our 2024 speaker ... Pieter Estersohn.  Pieter is a renowned photographer of architecuture and interiors, and a contributor to Architecural Digest.  In his new book, Back to the Land: A New way of Life in the Country: Foraging, Cheesemaking, Beekeeping, Syrup Tapping, Beer Brewing, Orchard Tending, Vegetable Garening, and Ecological Farming in the Hudson River Valley, Pieter takes a look at farmstead living -- the way the Mathers lived so long ago -- which is coming back into fashion with many people who have recently made an exodus from the city to the country.
