Kids! Join us for a discussion of Betsy Haynes' 1974 book set during the Revolutionary War. Fourteen-year-old Jonathan wants to be a soldier fighting for the American Revolution. After his father's death he signs up, but is made into an errand boy. That is when he decides to form a spy network of his own. Recommended for ages 9 to 12. Great pre-read before 5th grade Revolutionary War curriculum! We have copies of the book which is out of print. Let us know if you'd like to borrow one!
