About the event
John Muir, 1838 to 1914, is considered the father of the movement to preserve America's natural resources. His writings inspired many people including Stephen Mather who put Muir's words into action by establishing the National Park Service and conserving so much of the National Parks land that we enjoy today. Samantha Gault will walk guide us through a discussion of his writings and, we hope, give us all an even better appreciation for our natural landscape.
