    We welcome back ArtScapes  for a lecture about the American Impressionists who followed the Hudson River School painters discussed at our last lecture. Artists featured will include J. Alden Weir whose local home is a National Historic Site and Connecticut’s only national park.

Plein Air Weeks

We invite all artists and aspiring artists to head over to the Mather Homestead in order to enjoy the grounds and paint, draw, photograph, etc during the first two weeks of June.

Darien Alumni Art Show

The Mather Homestead hosted the Darien Alumni Art Show in June of 2021 and 2022 and we look forward to their return in 2023.
