Our lectures explore a variety of topics and a variety of formats. Some of our lectures are traditional lecture format, while others involve a bit of hands on learning (e.g., honey tasting). Feb 11, 2026, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PMArtScapades will look at how artists depicted the events that led up to the Revolution, the battles that raged during the conflict, the creation and signing of a Declaration of Independence, and the early days of a new country. Wine, cheese, sparkling water, and sweet treats will be served.

Mar 05, 2026, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PMCornelia Dayton, Professor of History at UConn and author of Women's America: Refocusing the Past, will share previously unexplored court records and what they reveal about marriage and family life during The American Revolution. Wine and cheese at 6:30 followed by a lecture at 7:00p.
Date and time is TBDProfessor of History at Columbia, Brown will discuss one of the most consequential editorial decisions in American history: the 168 words Jefferson drafted holding George III accountable for slavery. and the founders' decision to strike them from the Declaration of Independence.
