MUSIC AT MATHER SERIES

Our music series includes a variety of musicians from singers to instrumentalists, and from classical to contemporary.  Weather permitting, concerts are outside on the lawn.  BYO blanket, beverage and snacks!

Please consider becoming a patron in order to help us bring great musicians to the Mather Homestead.  Plus, we'll provide the beverages for our Patrons -- no need to BYO!* Vaccination Required to attend

Acabella

Acabella, an all women's a cappella group, will perform their 20th spring concert!  The group, led by Heather Raker and Carolyn Woodberry, started in 2001 but missed two spring concerts in 2020 and 2021 due to ... you guessed it ... COVID! Acabella is thrilled to be BACK for our 20th spring concert in the MH barn!  Current members include: Brooke Beck, Kelly Galvin, Amanda Martocchio, Jennifer Mathissen, Cathleen Morgan, Heather Raker, Claire Runyan, Susan Seelert, Rachel Steib, Tere Stevens, Carolyn Woodberry, Jenny Zonis.

On the Trail - bluegrass band

On the Trail returns to the Homestead for a repeat performance!  On the Trail is a modern acoustic quartet that explores everything from bluegrass to contemporary pop, from stunning instrumentals to beautiful songs.  The band bonded from their love of bluegrass and the band Punch Brothers, and has already gained recognition and praise for their execution of challenging music, as well as for their new original music.  On the Trail features former Darien Middlesex Music Teacher, Austin Scelzo on fiddle and vocals, Tom Polizzi on mandolin and vocals, Chet Duke on banjo and Charlie Widmer on guitar and vocals.
BYO blanket, chairs and beverage. We'll be on the lawn weather permitting.

Con Fuoco - String Quartet
